Is there a recommended Savings Mode reserve that maximizes battery life? Is cycling good or bad for the battery?

LFP batteries are indeed different. From what I've seen online, almost complete discharges and full recharges of LFP batteries are not detrimental to the battery. In fact, Tesla now uses LFP batteries in their standard range Model 3, and they suggest you can charge those LFP batteries to 100%.
